Family seeks a full-time nanny for their 2.5 year old & 5.5 year old children.
The family is relocating from New York to New Jersey and they are seeking a full-time nanny/household manager for their 2 children starting in June. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (guaranteed 50 hours per week). Pay is $20-25 per hour, based on experience, plus benefits. There is also room for additional overtime if the parents want to go away for the weekend or have a date night. They would also prefer a nanny who would be comfortable travelling with them on occasion. This is a long-term position and the family hopes to have their nanny as part of their family for many years to come. This position is great for a nanny with 1-5 years of experience.
Both children will be in school for most of the day come September. The nanny will be responsible for all things related to the children such as transporting to and from school and activities, cleaning up after the children daily, preparing and serving healthy meals for the children, and helping with baths and bedtime in the evening. Since the nanny will have a lot of down time while the children are in school, the family would love it if their nanny could also make the beds, cook dinner to include the parents a couple times each week, tend to the laundry for the family (as needed), run occasional errands, and just making sure the house is neat and tidy at the end of each day (no deep cleaning needed). The family also has a mini Goldendoodle so candidates must be comfortable with dogs.
The children love to play outside, do arts and crafts, puzzles, go to the playground and parks, spend time at the beach, and baking. The children are very empathetic, outgoing, and goofy. The family considers themselves to be fairly easygoing, raising their children to be polite and kind humans.
Their ideal nanny is somebody has experience caring for multiple children at a time, is easy going, communicative, fun, and brings a positive energy with them each day. The family would very much love for their nanny to become like a part of the family
Candidates will need to have a valid license, reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record.
Candidates will need to be CPR & First Aid Certified.
Candidates should have a flu shot, TDAP, and covid vaccine.
This position starts June 27, 2022. This position is full-time and live-out.
