Family seeks a nanny for their infant child age 4 months. Long-term live-out position.
Location: Short Hills, New Jersey
Start date: Immediately
Hours: Schedule varies, 8 hours on Monday and Friday, 12 hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Pay: $25 an hour
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 sick/pto days, federal holidays
Duties: You will provide care for the 4-month-old including feeding, supervision and safety management, age-appropriate play, helping keep baby on a schedule, keeping baby’s areas clean and tidy, washing bottles, changing diapers, doing baby’s laundry, and anything else pertaining to the child.
About the family: The family are first-time parents to a 4-month-old looking for a nanny with experience as they grow as parents and their child grows into his personality. Both parents work in the city during the week and work from home on Mondays and Fridays. They are hoping to find a nanny who will work with them as a team and who will be reliable and flexible.
What they are looking for in a nanny: You possess prior experience with newborns (less than 6 months) and genuinely enjoy the newborn stage and everything that comes with it. You want to support the baby’s development through age-appropriate play and encouragement to reach milestones. You are flexible and are able to make minor scheduling adjustments with proper notice and compensation to fit the family’s needs.
Requirements:
– Candidates will need to be CPR & First Aid Certified. Other certifications are a plus
– 3 to 4 years paid nanny experience
– A valid license and reliable vehicle are required for this position
Candidates must be able to legally work in the United States as all positions are paid on the books.
