Family seeks a nanny for 14-month-old and 3-year-old 27-30 hours per week.
The family is located in Tinton Falls, NJ and they are seeking a part-time nanny for their two children ages 14 months and 3 years. The nanny will mainly be responsible for the 14-month-old as the 3-year-old will be in preschool. The family will need a minimum of 27 hours per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30-4:30 pm, however, after a month of employment they can add hours for the nanny and can go up to 40 hours per week. The pay is $25-$28 per hour plus benefits. This is a great opportunity for a nanny with at least 3 years of nanny experience.
The children love to color, play legos, read books, and play in their play kitchen. They also enjoy going for walks, playing on the playground, and going swimming. The nanny will largely be responsible for the 14-month-old as the 3-year-old will be in preschool. The older child is reserved, well-behaved, and very observant. He is cautious but loves to play and explore. The younger child is more outgoing and has a bubbly personality. Both are sweet, playful, and smart.
Their ideal nanny is calm, cool, and collected. They are hoping to find someone kind, empathetic, organized, and who can become an extension of their family. They want a nanny who will be part of their parenting team — and trust is the most important thing to them. They describe their parenting style as having a strict framework of rules for safety, but giving their children the freedom to make decisions and develop their personalities within those guidelines. They are hoping their nanny can help them raise independent, kind, and well-mannered children.
This is a longterm position.
Candidates will need to be CPR & First Aid Certified. Other certifications a plus.
A valid license and reliable transportation to get to the job are required for this position.
This position starts as soon as possible. This position will start part-time but can go to full-time shortly after hiring.
Candidates must be able to legally work in the United States as all positions are paid on the books.
Candidates MUST have at minimum 3 years of nanny specific experience to be considered.
