Family seeks a nanny for 3 children ages 5, 3, and newborn in Madison, NJ
The family is located in Madison, NJ and they are seeking a full-time nanny for their three children ages 5, 3, and newborn. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-6:30pm, for a guaranteed 52.5 hours per week. The pay is $25-$30 per hour plus benefits. This is a great opportunity for a nanny with at least 4 years of nanny experience. This is a long-term, live-out position that starts ASAP.
The mom is on maternity leave through the end of the year, so at the start, the main responsibility will be to care for the two older children. The family envisions a “tag team” approach, especially at first. They just moved from NYC to NJ, and they are looking for a nanny who love and enjoy spending time with each child individually, and who will help the kids through the transition by showing love and patience.
Their ideal nanny is someone who is warm, nurturing, calm, go with the flow, patient, and fun. Responsibilities include engaging in energetic play, reading to kids, keeping kids active, coordinating playdates, helping with drop-offs/pick-ups, kids’ meal prep, kids’ laundry, keeping the kids’ spaces clean and tidy, and running quick errands (for example, stopping at a store for kids’ needs). The older 2 kids will be in school during the morning/early afternoon hours starting in September.
The family is looking for someone to grow with them and would love if the person they hire would be willing to transition into a household manager position once all three children are in school, but this is not required as that is at least 4 or 5 years away. Must have experience with managing multiple kids under 5, including newborns/infants, have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving the kids around to various activities, be CPR-certified (or be willing to become certified) and keep up to date on recommended COVID/flu vaccines. The nanny must have their own transportation to get to the job, but a car CAN be provided to transport the children.
This is a longterm position.
Candidates will need to be CPR & First Aid Certified. Other certifications a plus.
A valid license and reliable transportation to get to the job are required for this position.
This position starts as soon as possible. This position is full-time and live out.
Candidates must be able to legally work in the United States as all positions are paid on the books.
Candidates MUST have at minimum 3 years of nanny specific experience to be considered.
