Family seeks a part-time nanny for 3 children 35 hours per week
The family is located in Livingston, New Jersey and they are seeking a part-time nanny for their three children aged 11, 9, and 7 Monday-Friday from 1:00-7:30 for a guaranteed 32 hours per week. Pay is $30 per hour plus benefits. This is a great opportunity for a nanny with at least 3-5 years of experience.
The children are energetic and love playing sports (especially soccer), puzzles, arts and crafts, playing outside, going to the zoo, riding bikes, going for walks, and anything that keeps them busy and entertained. The nanny will be responsible for homework help, keeping children occupied, safe and entertained. Driving children to and from school and to activities and play dates. The nanny will arrive at 1pm to prep for the day (help with laundry, prep light snacks, help with anything that needs to be done regarding after school activities) and then will pick up the children from school and will stay until 7:30 pm. Two of the children will have sports practice a few nights a week, so the nanny may be asked occasionally to stay until 8pm with proper notice and compensation. If the nanny would like more hours, the parents are happy to provide hours on the weekend.
Their ideal nanny is energetic and will keep the children busy with activities. They are looking for someone who will play with the children. Both parents have busy schedules and need a reliable, professional care giver who will reinforce good behavior and not let the kids get away with pushing boundaries while trying to foster independence by guiding them through tasks but allowing them to do things on their own. The children are at an impressionable age, and the parents’ greatest priority is raising kind, respectful humans. They need a nanny who will make that their priority as well.
This is a longterm position. The family hopes the nanny will become an extension of them.
Candidates will need to be CPR & First Aid Certified. Other certifications a plus.
A valid license and reliable transportation to get to the job are required for this position. A car is provided for transporting the children.
This position can start anytime after August 30th. This position is part-time and live-out.
Candidates must be able to legally work in the United States as all positions are paid on the books.
