Family seeks a part-time or full-time nanny for 24 to 40 hours per week
The family is located in Boonton Township, NJ and they are seeking a part-time OR full-time nanny for their four children ages 8, 6, 5, and 4. The nanny would only be responsible for two of the children at a time. The hours are at minimum Monday-Thursday 1pm-7pm but the family can offer up to 40 hours guaranteed depending on the nanny’s needs. Pay is $23-$30 per hour dependent on experience. This is a great opportunity for a nanny with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
The children are heavily involved in after school activities and the parents need help with bringing them to-and-from practices/etc. after school, help with homework, and help around the house with things that pertain to the children. The kids love sports, games, science experiments, arts and crafts, and spending time outside. The nanny will be responsible for homework help, light meal prep, driving the children, and keeping them safe and entertained. The minimum hours needed are 1pm-7pm but the family can guarantee up to 40 hours per week if the nanny is willing to help with household management tasks such as light housekeeping, organizing, shopping, etc. The children’s sport practice can vary occasionally so the nanny may be asked to stay until 8pm on some days (and will be compensated as such). The family would love a nanny who could potentially be available overnight if the parents want to go out of town (with proper notice and compensation) but this is not required.
Their ideal nanny is energetic, fun, and flexible. They are often busy with their after school activities but need a nanny who can also keep them busy when they’re home. Overall, mom is looking for someone to become a team with her, someone who can say “I’ve got these kids, you take those!” and go from there. They are looking for a nanny who will become an extension of their family and will instill the same values that they do into their children.
This is a longterm position.
Candidates will need to be CPR & First Aid Certified. Other certifications a plus.
A valid license and reliable transportation to get to the job are required for this position.
This position starts September first. This position is part-time OR full-time and live-out.
Candidates must be able to legally work in the United States as all positions are paid on the books.
Candidates MUST have at minimum 3 years of nanny specific experience to be considered.
