Family seeks nanny to for care for their two children ages 3 and 7 with 40 hours per week guaranteed.
The family is located in Old Tappan, NJ and they are seeking a live-in or live-out nanny for two children ages 7 and 3. The hours are M-F 3-11, occasionally ending at 9pm for a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The family is also okay with the nanny having two weekdays off and working either 9am-3pm or 6pm-1am on the weekend. The schedule can change weekly based on nanny/family preference but they are open to discussion. Pay is $25-$35 per hour, and the nanny must have a minimum of 5 years of experience. The nanny must have experience with or be open to learning how to use an epi-pen.
The children are fun-loving, kind individuals who are very excited about being outside, learning new things, and going on adventures. The 3-year-old would be the main responsibility for the nanny as she needs more care, but the 7-year-old will also need care when he isn’t independently occupied. The 3-year-old is very loving and social, loves imaginary play and likes to creates different scenarios each day.
Their ideal nanny is experienced, professional, has a background in early childhood education, and has experience with children with allergies. The 3-year-old has a peanut allergy and the nanny needs to be able to care for the child safely while also knowing how to react to an allergic reaction, able to use an epi-pen or willing to learn to use one.
This is a longterm position.
Candidates will need to be CPR & First Aid Certified. Other certifications a plus.
A valid license and reliable transportation to get to the job are required for this position.
This position starts ASAP and is long-term.
Candidates must be able to legally work in the United States as all positions are paid on the books.
Candidates MUST have at minimum 3 years of nanny specific experience to be considered.
