Family seeks a part-time nanny for their 9 & 6 year old children.
The family is located in Short Hills, NJ and they are seeking a part-time nanny for their 2 children starting in July. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 1:30/2PM-6:30/7PM (25 hours per week guaranteed). Pay is $25-30 per hour, based on experience, plus standard benefits. This is a long-term position for a couple of years. The family’s current nanny is moving, but can be used as a reference for the family.
The nanny will be responsible for picking the children up and dropping them off to/from school and activities, cooking healthy meals for the children, doing the children’s laundry, tidying up after the children, helping with homework, and arranging/hosting playdates, when needed.
The children are sweet and kind, and they love soccer, arts and crafts, Legos, going to the park/playground, reading, and board games. The children are involved in soccer, swim, and basketball. They have food allergies which will be discussed during the interview process. Their parenting style is loving and nurturing, yet firm.
Their ideal nanny is somebody has experience caring for multiple children at a time, outgoing, responsible, takes initiative, clean, and who knows how to cook healthy meals.
Candidates will need to have a valid license, reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record.
Candidates will need to be CPR & First Aid Certified.
Candidates should have a covid vaccine (+booster, if eligible).
This position starts July 5, 2022, but the family does have flexibility with the start date (but prior to Labor Day), so this can be discussed during your interview. This position is part-time and live-out.
