Family seeks a part-time nanny for their 4 month old and 10 year old children

The family is located in East Rutherford, NJ and they are seeking a part-time nanny for their 4 month old and 10 year old starting immediately. The main responsibility would be the care of the 4-year-old as the 10-year-old is in school. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday 9am-5pm and Friday from 4pm-11Pm with a guaranteed 24 hours per week. Pay is $30+ per hour, based on experience, plus benefits. The family also has pre-planned vacations that will require the nanny to work overnight a few days a week in May and September. This is a long-term position perfect for a nanny with 10 or more years of experience. 

The baby has a happy personality and loves to be talked to, read to, and sang to. The 10-year-old is comical and friendly. The nanny will be responsible for all the care for the children including creating a safe and stimulating environment, bottle preparation and feeding, soothing, bathing and dressing, changing diapers, educational activities, organizing bedroom/toys, and picking up the 10-year-old from school on Mondays and Wednesdays. The position also includes housekeeping such as doing dishes, vacuuming, wiping down countertops and doing the baby’s laundry, and meal prep on Fridays.

Their ideal nanny is an energetic, patient, solution-oriented individual who loves children and loves being a nanny. They are looking for someone who is understanding and responsible with a nurturing spirit. Punctuality and reliability are a must. 

Candidates will need to be CPR & First Aid Certified. Other certifications a plus.

This position starts as soon as possible.. This position is part-time and live-out.
