Family seeks a full-time nanny for their 6 month old and 2.5 year old children.
The family is located in Morristown, New Jersey and they are seeking a full-time nanny for their 2 children Monday & Friday from 9:30AM – 5:30PM, and Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 7:30AM – 5:30PM. The hours may vary slightly on the days when the parents are commuting into the city for work, but the family is guaranteeing 45 hours per week minimum. Pay is $23-28 an hour based on experience, plus benefits.
The nanny will be responsible for all things related to the children such as creating a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment, following nap and eating schedules, planning and preparing meals/bottles for the children, changing diapers, dressing the children, bathing occasionally, cleaning up after meals, and tidying the play areas at the end of the day. The family has a gentle parenting approach with a focus on redirection and communication.
Their toddler loves to play and run around outside, read, play catch, do puzzles, bake, and do arts and crafts. He attends Montessori for 3-5 half days per week. The baby loves to be cuddled and talked to about his surroundings, tummy time, and being read to. The children do best with a mixture of planned and unstructured activities.
Their ideal nanny is somebody who is honest and trustworthy, energetic enough to keep up with a toddler, has experience caring for multiple children of these ages at once, is loving and caring, and who can become an extension of their family and be with them for years to come. The family is very easy-going and would love for their nanny to be comfortable in their home, with a mutually respectful relationship.
Candidates will need to have a valid license and a clean driving record. They should also have a reliable way to get to work, but the family will have a car for the nanny to use while on duty.
Candidates should have a flu shot, TDAP, and COVID vaccine.
This position starts May 20, 2022. This position is full-time and live-out.
