Family seeks a nanny for their 6 month old. 

The family is located in Little Silver, NJ. They are seeking a full-time nanny, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM- 4:30 PM (40 hours guaranteed per week). Pay is $20-25 per hour, negotiable, based on experience (on the books), plus competitive benefits, including paid time off. This is a long-term position (1-2 years or more).

The family will need help with the overall care of their daughter, as well as all tasks related to the child, such as preparing and serving meals, cleaning up after the child, and laundry for the child. They would also love for their nanny to be hands-on in engaging the child in play and in educational activities to aid in her development. The family has a mini dachshund, but the nanny will not be responsible for her. 

Their ideal nanny is a strong communicator, sensitive and empathetic to the child’s needs, and creative in coming up with ways to make the day-to-day fun and stimulating for her. She is still a baby, so her personality and likes and dislikes are still emerging! The parents adhere to a schedule when it comes to feeding and sleeping, however they try to be flexible and sensitive to the child’s needs, and will adjust based on that. Overall, they would love someone who can become their partner in parenting. 

Candidates will need to have a valid license and a reliable vehicle.

Candidates should be fully vaccinated for COVID prior to employment (plus booster), have a recent Flu Shot, and be up to date on TDaP as well. 

Candidates must be CPR & First Aid certified. The family would be willing to pay for the nanny to maintain their certification.

This position is full-time, live-out with a start date of March 1, 2022.
