Family seeks a nanny for their 2.5 year old twin boys

The family is located in Trenton, NJ. They are seeking a full-time nanny, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:15 AM- 5:15 PM (36 hours guaranteed per week). Pay is $20-23 an hour, based on experience, with benefits. This is a long-term position that may change as the children grow. The children are with their Grandmother on Wednesdays, but if the nanny is available with notice on days when she is ill or on vacation, they family would appreciate the flexibility.

The family will need help with light housework, such as the children’s laundry and keeping the spaces used neat and clean, and well as preparing lunch and snacks for the children. The family also has 2 small dogs (under 25 lbs) that will need to be let out into the yard, as needed.

Their ideal nanny is creative, energetic, personable, patient, loving, and will be comfortable and confident in their home while also respecting the family’s decisions and needs. They want their nanny to be like part of the family, who will treat their children like their own, and who will be invested in their growth and development.

The children love arts and crafts and spending lots of time outdoors. They are funny and charismatic, but can also be sensitive and get easily frustrated. Both children have an egg allergy. The family has a gentle parenting style, focused on communication, mindfulness practiced, and teaching the children to verbalize their emotions accurately.

Candidates will need to have a valid license and a reliable vehicle.

Candidates should be fully vaccinated for COVID prior to employment as well as CPR and First Aid certified.

This position is full-time, live-out with a start date of December 12, 2021.
