Family seeks a nanny for their 2 year old and newborn (due in June)

The family is located in Morristown, NJ. They are seeking a full-time nanny, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM (40 hours guaranteed per week). Pay is $23-27 per hour, based on experience, on the books. This is a long-term position for 2+ years.

The family will need help with the overall care of the children, as well as all tasks related to the children such as prepping and serving meals, cleaning up after the children, laundry, and loading and unloading the dishwasher. They would also love for their nanny to engage the children in educational activities to aid in their development and preparation for school in the future.

Their ideal nanny is energetic, hands-on, engaging, and can keep up with both a toddler and a newborn. They consider their nanny to be an extension of their family and they hope for their nanny to feel the same. Potty training experience (or being comfortable with potty training) is preferred.

The 2 year old is outgoing and playful. He loves to play outside, draw and paint, music, and playing with toys. The child does have an egg allergy. The family uses a gentle parenting style, and authoritative when it comes to discipline. This is a no-screen household, so their nanny should be creative in coming up with ways to keep the children engaged and entertained throughout the day.

Candidates will need to have a valid license and a reliable vehicle.

Candidates should be fully vaccinated for COVID prior to employment, have a recent Flu Shot, and be up to date on TDaP as well. The family is extremely covid conscious and require a nanny who is as well.

Candidates must be CPR & First Aid certified prior to employment.

This position is full-time, live-out with a start date of January 17, 2022.
